Whoa, What a Winter

April 15 2012-

Well what a season, where to start? We started shooting and skiing here at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing at the end of November and we are still going. What a great snow year with up to 600 cms of snowpack in parts of our terrain. We are currently in Blue River skiing and shooting with one guest from Utah. Lots of precipitation in the valley today so we are hoping for clear skies in the morning. The Canadian Ski Guide Association is currently conducting a Level 2 and 3 here, good luck to all the candidates. Lets hope the weather cools a little so we can get a few more epic days, always fun in April. Ciao for now – John

Blog it

Sept 22, 2011 – What a summer, guess I was too busy to keep up with my blog? The last week of summer officially and I am starting to prep for Blue River and my work at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing. I never make predictions on the winter snow as I’ve long given up on that. My Grandmother use to predict the winter by the thickness of the chestnut shells. So if you’re back in Ontario let me know what your seeing! Looking forward to a great autumn and some new projects I am working on. Updates to come. Talk soon.
